O.K., so I know that my blog is not that fun or exciting. I mostly just complain about the idiots that surround me, but I did discover this blog:
http://theadventuresofpatoneil.blogspot.com . I found it from the 11 lamest blogs list that was on MSN. This guy is FUNNY! Seriously, if you are an uptight, blocked person, do NOT go there. Otherwise, enjoy. Meth Ninja... geez what a concept.

BAH!
So the country is in pretty bad shape right now. I mean let's take a look at the election situation. Thankfully Hillary is out of the running, but seriously, Obama? Do we really want him in office? I'm going to throw my 2 cents in and say no. PEOPLE wake up. Not that McCain is perfect, but he will not run the country into the ground with socialistic ideas. Why should a man who has never served his country in uniform be allowed to pass judgement on the military? He does not know what it means to wear the uniform. ACORN wasn't sitting outside a mall telling teenagers they could register to vote, then pointing them to the booths saying " Over there you can vote for McCain". No no no, they, a supposedly neutral party organization, encouraged 15-17 yr olds to register then go FRAUDULENTLY go vote for Obama. My friend @ work, always tells me that there is a prediction that the world is going to end 12/12/12, and it will be brought about by the charismatic man who was able to convince the nations everything he said and did was right. She thinks it is Obama who is the anti Christ. I'm just saying.....
Bail out? phhhhtt. I heard on the radio that if they took the money being used for the bail out, and divided it amongst the American citizens, that were legal, and over 18, we would each get $420,000. I could pay off my debt with that. I like that idea better, give all of us the money, let us get ourselves out of debt and put the money BACK into the economy. Sounds like a plan.
Thankfully we are getting another stimulus check this year, hopefully the checks won't bounce. I mean we are giving all this money to the bail out, do they have enough money for the rest of us?

Anticipation
So I have been going through the interview process @ work for a position that I REALLY want. Over the past few weeks I have gone from one stage to the next, and with each step the anticipation gets harder and stronger. I muddled through it, as we always do. From what I have heard what began as 16 candidates, came down to 2 finalist. I had my final presentation on Wednesday. It seemed to go pretty well. I was nervous, I mean this is like the most important job interview/process of my life. This is mt dream position and the only reason I am working at this company. I was told a decision would be made by the end of the week. Of course yesterday was the LONGEST day ever. So hopefully once I get to work today I will hear something, otherwise the anticipation will do me in.

School Daze
So my 7 yr old is going into 2ND grade next week. Where did the summer go? I took him shopping and told him he could pick his own clothes, determine his own style. He is at that stage where Mommy does not know what is best in regards to his clothes. Or his hair. So I spent $130, which at first made me gasp, then I thought about all that we bought, and it really was NOT that much. Yet he has always had friends who have given us clothes, and at most I have to buy his backpack, and new shoes, and a few pair of jeans. Well the supplies, shoes and back pack were $75 on a different trip. So all in all I spent $205 on my 7 yr old going back to school.
Is this extreme? Or about right?

Summer Lovin?
So summer is in full swing, we have the hot weather, the short clad bodies, the crowded swimming pools, even more road rage, tempers rising along with temperatures. Weddings to plan. Yes that is right, a wedding to plan. OH NOT MINE, my sisters'. I am so very excited for her, she finally set the date. October 25th, 2008. That doesn't leave much time does it? Who knew that they were so expensive? $135 for a basic veil?!?! $15 for the ribbon that goes with the dress?!?! $10 for the dress bag?!?! (you would think if you are paying $400+ for a dress, they would throw in a $10 bag.
Then we move in to the invitations, the bridal shower, the bachelorette party. Which is not going to be your typical fanfare event. You know the kind, drunken girls drinking out of glasses that are shaped like a penis, or eating penis shaped cake. No we were planning the San Antonio Ghost Tours limo service. Until we discovered that it is $900. So now we are looking at cosmic bowling for shots, or some type of scavenger hunt.
So while she is running here and there for dresses, rings, and shoes, I am running here and there for ideas for the bridal shower and bachelorette party. Any ideas? Any one? Bueller?.....
